This talk introduces Alibaba's recent work on accelerating SONiC NOS BGP Routes Loading Workflow. Apart from the batch publish feature which decreases FPMSyncD Redis traffic and a new design of the Redis pipeline flush policy, this talk also introduces how Alibaba restructures SONiC submodules such as Orchagent and Syncd with a Singleton version templated ring buffer data structure. It utilizes the lambda function to enable general and flexible offload for the module main thread, and eventually double the loading performance.
